Pastor's Corner: A word from Pst Brad Abley

I'm ready to make a strong statement on the study of Scripture and even the motivation for it's study.
This statement ought to be able to withstand scrutiny, and I'm sure that others will come up with a better statement than mine.

Here goes: I read the word of God to increasingly stand in awe of the Triune God -- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

This has been my approach for 45 years now and it's what leads me to truly understand and value all of His qualities and attributes (i.e., His love, His righteousness, His mercy, His grace, and supremely, the truth of His Word).

"May I invite you to read the Word of God with a heart to stand in awe of the One who inspired what you're reading?"
