There’s nothing better than reading or studying God’s Word, but better still is to do that and interact with Him in prayer – by praying His Word. This approach will deepen our prayer life, deepen our relationship with our Triune God, and give us a far greater appreciation for His Word – for the life-changing power of His Word

Rom. 3:23-25: Father, thank You that although I've sinned and fallen short of Your glory, yet in Christ You have declared me to be righteous in Your sight and worthy before You! Thank You that I stand justified – declared righteous in Your sight -- as a gift by Your grace through the redemption which is in Christ; whom You, Father displayed publicly on the cross as a propitiation in His blood through faith. Lord Jesus, thank You that You took the judgment and wrath due me upon Yourself, and You turned the wrath of God against me into the favor of God for me! Because of You, I’m no longer treated as a sinner, but as a saint – no longer as a child of wrath but as a son/daughter of God my Father!
Rom. 5:1: Therefore, having been justified by faith, I have peace with you now, Father through You -- my Lord Jesus Christ!
Rom. 5:8: Thank You, Father that Your love has been poured out in my heart through You, Holy Spirit – given to me!
Rom. 5:10: Thank You, Father that You demonstrate Your own love to me in that while I was yet a sinner, You died for me, Lord Jesus!
Heb. 4:16: Father, thank You that through You, Lord Jesus I can draw near with confidence/wide open access to Your throne of grace, so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Gal. 2:20: Father, I thank You and agree with Your Word – that I''ve been crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I -- but Christ who lives in me. And the life that I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
2 Cor. 5:14-15: Father, I thank You and agree with Your Word: For the Love of Christ controls me, having concluded this; that one died for all, therefore all died. And He died for all, that I who live should no longer live for myself, but for Him who died and rose again on my behalf.
Micah 7:7-8: Thank You, Lord Jesus for Your Word; I agree with you now: But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. ,y God will hear Do not rejoice over me, oh my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.
Micah 7:18-19: Holy Spirit, teach me and deepen these truths in me: Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of your possession? You do not retain Your anger forever, because You delight in lovingkindness (hesed: covenant loyalty; devotion; steadfast love; kindness; favor; faithfulness). You will again have compassion on me; You will tread my iniquities underfoot. Yes, You will cast all my sins into the sea of forgetfulness.
Psalm 4:3: Father, I thank You and agree with Your Word: But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man/woman for Himself; the LORD hears me when I call to Him! More personalized: Father, You have set me apart for Yourself; You hear me when I call to You!
Psalm 116:1-2: I love you, O LORD, because You hear my voice and my supplications; because You have inclined Your ear to me, therefore I will call upon You as long as I live.
Prov. 3:5-6: Holy Spirit, help me to walk this out – to trust in You, Father with all my heart – and not lean on my own understanding. In all my ways, to know You, and You will make my paths straight.
Gal. 5:22-23: Holy Spirit, please help me to be Your blessing to everyone I come in a contact with today, especially through Your fruit. Therefore, with Your presence and help, I choose to walk in Your love – Your unconditional, giving, sacrificial love. I choose to walk in Your joy, independent of circumstances; I choose to walk in Your peace – through the peace I already have with You and in Your peace toward others. I choose to walk in Your patience -- the Jesus-kind of patience that enables me to go the extra mile with others without getting impatient or losing control. I choose to walk in Your gentleness/ humility -- the humility which is strength under control – toward others. I choose to walk in Your kindness toward others, in Your goodness toward others, in Your faithfulness toward others and in Your self-control -- in all matters -- in Jesus’ name, amen.
Psalm 16:11: Father, thank You that in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore!
Psalm 27:4: Father, one thing I ask, and that I ask You to help me to continually seek; that I may dwell in Your presence all the days of my life – to behold Your beauty/pleasantness/delightfulness – and to meditate in Your presence.
