History of the Home:
Ebenezer is under African Word Ministries which was started in 1995 by David Tawo, a Kenyan, and Anna Tawo, an Australian, David was killed in a bus accident in 2000. Their vision is to help the poor and destitute people in rural Kenya to find their potential and build their own futures.
About Ebenezer Children’s Home:
Because of AIDS many children have been left orphaned in the area. For those children who don’t have anywhere to go they are welcomed at Ebenezer. Here they are given loving care, nutritious food and good education in a Christian environment
Making the Connect:
Pastor Brad Abley was introduced to Ebenezer Children's Home and School eight years ago, on his first trip to teach rural Pastors in Siaya, Kenya! This is also the time when Pastor Brad first met, Pastor Paul Ochieng. Pastor Paul now oversees both the Orphanage and School -Word Academy!
In September 2022, Pastor Paul was instrumental in launching Pastor Brad’s new FM Radio program in Siaya, Kenya on Siaya 103.8 FM Radio Mikayi Kiloki.
