While it's true that Revelation is a book of coming judgment, Revelation is much more than that; it's a book of prayer, worship, and grace. It also reveals extraordinary characteristics of the nature of the Triune God. It's therefore a book of hope; it's a book which describes Heaven in detail.
While being faithful to expound the text, in-depth, this book has many devotional sections to it, in the form of prayers and applications. Ultimately, it's designed to take away the intimidation factor -- which seems to hinder so many from not reading this vital book of Scripture.
