Some of the ministry on Day One of these two plus weeks of ministry -- preaching both Sunday Services for Pastor Paul Ochieng’s Church. I preached two messages on Humility, but each one was different.
We had eight responses to a salvation invitation to accept Christ in the first service but none in the second service, and a lot of effective personal ministry after the end of each service.
The Sunday sermons were “broadcast live” on Radio Makiyi FM Radio 108.3, Siaya.
I had the joy of doing a baby dedication for little Elizabeth
The Lord gave me an encouraging word for Pastor Paul and his wife Vivian.
One thing that stood out particularly was a young woman that Pastor Paul called up to pray for her for a serious illness. He asked me to pray for her healing, but as soon as I came up the Lord gave me a word concerning "shame," and that He wanted to set her free. Only after the service did I find out how accurate that was. But when I gave that word she was really weeping hard. Later in the day we got a chance to talk to her again and she had a huge smile on her face.
