Kenya: Orphans at Ebenezer received a special delivery!
Ebenezer Children’s Home in Siaya, Kenya cares for 39 Orphans. There are so many needs in caring for and schooling this many orphans.
This was a special day, a food delivery just arrived! Ebenezer Orphanage was able to stock up on food staples: Ugali and Pourage, because of a generous donation from a partner. This staple will feed 39 children for at least two and a half months. Ebenezer also grows vegetables and has some farm animals to help supplement their diet.
Look at the joy on their faces! They are excited for the extra delivery of food.
A word from Anna, one of the co-founders of Ebenezer Children’s Home:
“When we started the ministry in April 1995, Pastor Paul Ocheing was not even 18 years old! Together (Anna, an Australian) with my late husband David, and the team we started the ministry, under a tree and it was to the children in the community. From the beginning children have always been important to us.
We started with mud huts and then a lady (not a Christian) from Perth, Australia started raising funds and eventurally we were able to build a girls and boys dormitories. God is amazing, times were tough; but God always was there and did the impossible.
It’s so important to help widows and orphans, as this is God’s heart.
Our belief was that to change the community we needed to start with the children. To teach them the Word of God and how the Word can and will change their lives. We have seen this over and over.

Pst Brad partners with a USA Ministry called MissionNow.Org to process donations for “Ebenezer Children’s Home in Siaya, Kenya.” This ministry is a husband and wife team. The wife is a Kenyan and used to help manage the orphans home! She married and American and moved to Los Angeles, California!
